International Student Dorm
SPS offers student housing on campus. This includes a full dorm, cafeteria, on staff 24/7 support and a lounge. This is a wonderful way to get to know the campus and become involved in your American education experience.
SPS offers a very wonderful homestay portion to its students. It is always important for our international students to feel comfortable and well-cared for while in the United States. Their safety and well-being is our top priority. Our host families are required to offer the student three meals a day, a calm and a safe environment, provide transportation to/from school and teach the student about American culture. Host families are a very important aspect of the student’s study abroad experience. Host families will also participate in activities with the student. Host families enjoy learning about other cultures and will also teach the students all they can about American culture. With that being said, hosts will take the student on activities and excursions. Host families are required to take the student on at least one outing per month. Most host families take the students to the mall, movie theater, historic sites and museums. This is a life changing experience.
